Now, I think all girls can agree that it's only the truly elite of our lotions and potions that make it sink-side for daily use. Especially in summer, when the last thing we all feel like doing is slathering our face in MORE layers before we head out. Lately, my skincare ritual has been kept down to the most basic of steps: cleanse, tone, moisturize, SPF. If I'm feeling really fancy I'll splurge to scooping out the last of my eye cream by Clinique. I know, so glam, right?!

The products on my rotation at the moment? Pretty simples. First up, a cleansing balm that I have already professed my love for - the Emma Hardie 'Amazing Face' natural lift and sculpt Moringa cleansing balm. Yes, the longest name in history - but this stuff works. It's a little, for want of a better word, melty in the summer, but keeps my skin soft and nourished, and for me it ticks all the boxes. Following that, I spritz on a light layer of this works: fresh skin alcohol-free toner which, if I'm honest, doesn't do much other than hydrate my skin - still looking for the right 'first step' exfoliating toner to suit my needs. Clarins and Pixi Glow Tonic - I'm looking at you.

Lastly, the step I'm least happy about in my regime. I use this Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating moisturizer simply as it was a 'moisturizer I had to use up in my cabinet' type of deal, but I'm looking for something more suited to my sometimes patchy dehydrated skin - something lightweight for the summer perhaps, and heavier for winter? Any recommendations, lovely readers?

In the spirit of the lovely Anna from VDM, I WANT YOU! Well. Your suggestions really. I am looking for:
- a light-weight summer moisturizer, no mineral oils or essential oils, fragrance free (I have sensitive skin!)
- an exfoliating toner or alternatively, a toner that is superb at minimizing pores
- a great summer cleanser! (Non-foaming, please!)
Please please please leave a comment below if you have any suggestions or directions to any posts that might help! And as always, let me know what makes your pick!

jo did a review of some cleansers that may be useful.
I'm jel of your products, I need to invest in some, I use simple because they are no fuss and gentle. New follower xx

    1. You BABE Christina thanks so much!! Will have a read of this now.
The balm cleanser is deffo worth the investment - it's steep, but has lasted me from February/March time til now and I think I'm only just under halfway! Lots of product and big results, for my skin anyway.

Thanks so much for the follow and comment!! Thanks for reading. T x
