Can everyone believe that this is the last weekend in October? I certainly can't. The 'extra hour' in bed today only meant I was up and awake at 8, and off out into a blustery autumnal day (that hurricane better not hit! Please!). It's been a really restful, enjoyable weekend and I'm finishing it off tonight with some pumpkin carving and a tasty home-cooked meal. How are you all spending the chillier nights? However you choose, here's some spooky-themed bookmarks for you to browse during those precious hours of down time!
1. I love this summary post on Cupcake and Cashmere of all of Emily's wonderful 'trick or treats' recipes she's posted over the years. Do I want all of them in-ma-belleh now? Absolutely.
2. This Glamour round-up of some of the 'easiest' (take that with a grain of salt!) Halloween make up tutorials has been a Godsend for both watching material, and serious dress-up inspo!
3. These pumpkin ideas are so cute if you didn't want all the hassle of carving out pumpkin guts!
4. Has everyone got their costume sorted? If not, AndreasChoice on YouTube (another amazing discovery of my week!) has some great last-minute DIY ideas.
5. On the slightly less spooky, slightly more kooky side of the spectrum, here's THAT Russell Brand video that has been doing the rounds this week.
6. If you're wondering what to do with leftover pumpkin flesh, this pumpkin bread recipe looks promising!
7. I've already declared my love for Sophie's blog, but this post on Handmade Halloween ideas is so inspiring, I might as well do it all over again.
8. I will definitely be lending my cack-handedness to trying to master this skull nail art tutorial.
Hope you have a weird and wonderful week ahead - leave me a comment below and tell me what you're up to this Halloween!!
