Ladies, it's Friday, so I'm gonna keep this simple, and omelet you finish. Before this, my skin was parched, flaky, prone to dry patches, and just generally lacklustre and not feeling as fabulous as it deserved to.

Then, like a Christmas miracle, this baby was gifted to me, and my skin changed. From first use. My cheeks were so freaking soft I literally could not stop touching my face which is a bit of a problem because hygiene but honestly? This cream is both lightweight and rich, fully hydrating but not heavy in the slightest, not greasy but feels packed full of nutrients and goodness. I don't know how many good things I can say about this.

One downside? The smell is a little... funky the first time you use it. I don't know if it's the Arab side of me but I really smelled labneh the first time I used this. It was bizarre, but I pushed through and I'm so glad I did. The texture of it is so beautiful and lightweight that I didn't quite believe how well it was treating my winter-battered skin. I could feel how happy this was making my face. It was blissful.

In almost every review of this the reviewer usually has a little fangirl/boy over the packaging, so I'm not going to deny myself the right. IT HAS A PUMP YOU GUYS. A little press pump top (like some snazzier bottles of Bioderma) that dispenses the perfect amount of moisturiser. So if you're a total idiot like me and always end up using too much product and you can never judge things properly - rest assured. You will get your money's worth from this.

It's currently a bugger to get hold of in the UK (I'm sorry!!) but honestly? I think it's worth the shipping from Kate Somerville direct or maybe from Sephora (how painful is it to order from there? Has anybody tried?). I know this will definitely be an instant repurchase as soon as I use this up (a thought which makes me very twitchy).

Have any of you used this cream? How are you finding it? Are you interested in Kate Somerville as a whole?
