Say that name quickly... Am I right? A snappy moniker it is not, but without sounding trite.. This mask literally does everything it says on the tin. A clay-based mask, and generator of quite the hub in beauty blogger circles, I picked up this little travel-sized baby (0.5 oz!) in the miniatures section of Sephora (holy mother of dangerous sections). I was a little skeptical at first because, as possessor of a face which often resembles the Sahara on a dryness scale, I wasn't sure how my skin was going to like a) a manual exfoliator and b) a hard-setting clay-based mask. Still, with my Origins Drink Up Intensive mask close at hand, I gave this mask a go during my standard Sunday pamper session... And sweet Lord, am I glad I did.

First of all, let's let the results speak for themselves apologies for the smug look in the 'after' shot, but if you had felt how soft my skin was at that moment, you'd look pretty darn smug as well. When I say this mask does what it says on the tin, I mean to the letter - it tingles, exfoliates, and makes you feel younger. The 'glow', I'm convinced, comes from this mask's ability to scour the rubbish off of the surface of your face and leave you with regenerated, baby soft and almost pore-less skin. I'm down wid dat.

For removal, I'd suggest the warm water and flannel no-fail partnership, as this guy takes a little moving to budge once it's set. I then went in with my Emma Hardie cleansing balm to clean up any remaining bits (the mask leaves the occasional 'grain' on your skin) and carried on with my cleansing routine as usual.

I was super impressed with this mask and would definitely recommend giving it a try - as I say, I was a little concerned about my dry skin but it seemed to absolutely love this treatment and, come to think of it, I'm off to give it another go now. In a bit!

Have you guys ever tried the GlamGlow mask? Have you tried any others from the range? I'm REALLY interested in the Moisture Mud mask now!

  1. I haven't given any of these a go because they're a bit out of my price range, but boy it sure sounds good! I love a good exfoliator and one that gives a glow. It's definitely been added to the wishlist!

  2. I love this mask too & bought a mini size to test it out as the price had me sceptical & I wondered how could it could actually be. But I LOVE it. It clears my blackheads like no other & leaves my skin feeling so clean & soft. Im scared now that I have to buy the full size.
