You've seen this baby crop up on the blog before - namely being the star of the show in my May monthly faves video, and deservedly so. I think this, if there is such a category in life, is my holy grail facial SPF. I don't know how many others are really in the ring for this, but I'm not even sure I want to know. I got it right first time.

Without wanting to sound braggy - this product really does it all for me! It isn't overly greasy, it doesn't sit heavily on skin, and feels more like a moisturiser than anything else. It also smells of peaches which, let's be honest, is never a bad thing. It comes out of the bottle tinted, which makes me wonder if it is also a complexion-fixer, evening-out-skintone type of deal also. I wouldn't necessarily recommend using it as a base on its own if you're planning any kind of on-camera action however, as I did in a couple of my NYC vlogs and things were getting a leeeeettle shiny up in there. But on off-duty summer days in the park or at the beach? Go to town gyal.

I didn't crisp up once on holiday (I'm prone to an impression of Rudolf after a day in the sun) and felt very protected even on the hottest of New York days. For the price? I'm more than a little bit in love.
Soap & Glory's Make Yourself Youthful Sunshield Superfluid SPF 50 is currently £10 (1/3 off) at Boots - so if you're planning a summer trip anytime soon and you're in the market for a facial SPF, go bag yourself a bottle!

Have you ever used this SPF? What's your go-to for protecting your skin in summer?

  1. This sounds amazing, a sunscreen that smells like peaches?? Colour me intrigued haha! For now the Biore Perfect face milk is protecting me amazingly, acts as a bit of a primer too. It's harder to get in the Western world but I'll be repurchasing for sure. I might need to check this one out too though!

  2. I absolutely love this sun screen! I was looking for something lightweight and made specifically for the face after so many bad experiences with suncream and stickiness and stinging eyes. This really is a wonder product and it's brilliant to see someone blogging about it. I was amazed by its effectiveness too, I didn't need to reapply frequently throughout the day and didn't get burnt at all :) x

  4. I keep trying to get my hands on this product but all the boots I go to it's not there! I currently use a SFP30 primer from ARK and it's glides on beautifully.
