I'm talking about a product that you can't get in the UK today guys, and I'm sorry - sorry because truthfully? We need this brand in England. I've talked about Bite Beauty on the blog before briefly and a couple of products have cropped up in favourites past, but let me take the time to get into it with you all today.

Bite's ethos is 'lip colour that's good enough to eat' - they only use food-grade ingredients in their products, making them vegan, cruelty-free and all around, pretty awesome. Not only are the products ethically made, they're also amazing - I haven't met a Bite beauty that has disappointed me. But this lipstick? I think this lipstick just might be my favourite.

Fig is one of those beautiful shades that is really juicy looking - a rich, pinky nude which I can see suiting a lot of fair skins. I hesitate to say it'll suit everyone but damn, this is a gorgeous shade. It's super flattering on, the formula is creamy, thick without being clumpy, and feels very comfortable on the lips. I'd say it's comparable to a Cremesheen lipstick from MAC, but a little thicker and more nourishing.

My only quibble with these lipsticks is literally their availability - they're only accessible to us UK lot via Sephora, which means spending over £70ish (yikes) to qualify for free delivery, and when you only wanna try out a few new shades... That seems a bit much. Although I've considered it - they are just that good. But for now I'm resisting... I'll be honest Quince and Shiraz are calling my name.

The verdict? If you can get it, TRY it. I promise you won't be disappointed. This brand is incredible and although at $24 you're talking about a price comparable to a higher-end lipstick, I'd much rather pay a little extra for something I know is going to work.

Have you tried Bite beauty? What are your favourites?

  3. I have a few minis from them, including Fig and I absolutely love them! They're just so damn wearable both in terms of shade and formula. Just perfect for everyday! My mini of Fig broke unfortunately - the bullet snapped in half! So I don't use it as often as I'd like :(

    1. Oh god that is heartbreaking! I love Fig although I have noticed because of its creaminess it's pretty.. Malleable? I can totally see how this could snap easily. What other minis do you have? Thanks for reading and commenting Tasha! T xx

  4. EEKS I LOVE THIS ON YOU! It looks amazing, you've got me hooked now. I love 'juicy' looking shades, I know that sounds weird but I love anything with shine. And this looks so wearable! Gah, can I have this right now please.
