Guys - new month, new season, new feature here on TGG. Welcome to 'If You Do One Thing...' which (I hope) will serve as a round-up of recommendations to keep you busy for the month ahead. Think of this like a little collective of goodness to browse through, come back to, investigate at your leisure. I would also love if you guys had any recommendations, if you'd like to leave a comment for me I'll be sure to go and check them out! I'm always on the lookout for my next favourite thing. So I guess now would be the optimum time to shut up, and get on with the recommending! For March...

SEE: Chef. I watched this with my guy last month and we both loved it. Don't watch it when you're hungry. Do immediately try to source a Cuban sandwich after, and squeal when you realise midway through that the main character is Monica's boyfriend Pete from Friends. Feel-good awesome film.

GO: I don't know about you but I have been planning my holidays this year since, oh, January 2nd. Now that Spring is getting into its stuff, I'm looking at some more UK-based adventures. Top of my wishlist? The Owl Cafe coming to London for like, a week, this month. Who doesn't want to have tea with an owl, right?

EAT: I have a serious craving for hot cross buns right now, and I keep seeing hot cross bun loaf around everyone's Instagrams. What is this miracle and where can I get my hands on some?

DRINK: So last week after feeling a little rubbish tummy-wise, I picked up the Pukka Peppermint and Liquorice tea and I'm quite sure it can do anything it puts its mind to in this life. This stuff is a little cup of magic.

WEAR: Denim jackets. Am I being optimistic thinking it's almost time for these again? This one is a serious fave.

READ: Personally, I'm determined to finish off #Girlboss once and for all, and then it's on to Yes Please from Amy Poehler. What's on your reading list this month?

THINK: Alive! Spring is nature's way of waking up from the winter slump, so it's about time we all do the same. I'm going to commit to a new challenge - the Jerry Seinfeld method of writing every day - just because I feel like creatively I might have accidentally dropped off the face of the earth with the start of this new job. I also really want to try Yoga with Adriene's 30 Days of Yoga, after hearing almost everyone rave about it.

I hope it's a bright and blooming month for us all. And please do leave your recommendations for me in the comments!

  2. I'm definitely going to try that tea, my tummy was so bad last week. My recommendations are: watch Better Call Saul and the new series of House of Cards. Drink fresh lemon, ginger and honey tea and listen to the new Public Service Broadcasting album xx

  3. I'm trying to find a good denim jacket in the charity shops at the moment, I want a nicely oversized one! I'll definitely be busting out the hot cross buns soon too.

    1. My mum has just text me a picture of the one she's bought me from America - what a babe! It's just the time of year for sweet, stodgy, raisin-y bread, slathered in butter. It's the simple things in life. T xx
