With the changing of the seasons here in the UK, it felt like it was about time for an updated rundown of the new launches I'm most excited for. My last 'New & Next' feels like so long ago now - and I only got one item from that list! I don't know if that's discipline or just depressing... I'll let you make the call there.

Let's kick things off with Jo Malone - I know this trio of perfumes has been out for a little while but I didn't want this launch to get skipped over because of timing - just look at those beautiful bottles! Jo Malone's Blue Skies and Blossom spring scents come in Sakura Cherry Blossom, Plum Blossom and Osmanthus Blossom, all of which sound completely delectable. I'm sure these smell of all the pulpy, beautiful, sweet and fresh goodness of spring, and can't wait to give a few a try next time I'm near a counter!

The NARS x Christopher Kane collab really caught my eye, but for a very superficial reason - NARS packaging in electric pink?! YAS. But the collection itself, available May 1st in Selfridges, is pretty gorgeous. Bright, hot pigment and a really bold colour story make this one high on my 'to swatch' list.

Ever since I saw the babely Hey Claire using Kat Von D's Shade & Light palette, it has been on the list. I'm not even going to apologise for it. You go watch her videos and try not to be enabled by everything she does. This looks like a much more accessible version of other contour/highlight palettes out there, so I'm keen to see how it works for people.

Another Jo Malone release (I knowwww...) but seriously, who could not want a White Lilac and Rhubarb candle sitting around in their home, right? Plus, all proceeds from the sales of this candle go to the Whitworth Art Gallery to raise funds for a new garden there. Having been a former resident of Manchester and visited the gallery I can attest to what a worthy cause it is.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting release alert - now they do bronzers. Thank me later.

I think the MAC x Philip Treacy line is genius. The man's designs are beautiful and his amazing aesthetic has made a graceful leap to cosmetics, as demonstrated by this bold yet wearable collection. And the embellishment on those beautiful blushes?! Come on.

As a long-time fan and devotee of Bite Beauty products, I spotted their Watercolour Lip Library a few months before its release and was intrigued. Having seen the swatches, I'm sold. I still can't believe how those pastel lilac, mint and yellow colours can transform the shade of any lipstick. I swear, whatever they're doing in those lip labs, it's magic.

The Chanel Summer 2015 release is all kinds of perfect. Everything is immaculate as you would expect, but my faves include this bronzer (called 'Lumiere d'Ete' or 'the light of summer' - gorg) and the super creamy looking eyeshadow sticks they've released. You know me - the copper-y and bronze shades have caught my eye already, but I am very much loving the look of that jewel-toned purple too!

What launches have you been loving lately/are you looking forward to? It looks like this summer is going to be a beautiful one, injected with lots of juicy colour - I love it!

  1. I want that Jo Malone candle if only for the packaging, swoooon!

The Hourglass bronzer was one I was super excited about, but when I tried it on Monday I was a little disappointed. Lovely and glowy...but very orange. Gahhhhh
