All in all, I have had a good week, and I think the secret to that is - let's just start every week with Monday off? I can't tell you how relaxing my bank holiday weekend was, but I'm pretty smug and satisfied that there's another to bookend this month. I've already planned a little excursion for that one too and after this week's exploring, I'm excited to see even more of our beautiful surroundings. But back to the moment at hand - this week has been made awesome by being productive, getting stuck in, and feeling inspired by all the podcasts I've been listening to at work. I can't tell you how fast these make the days fly, and I've been feeling so engaged and creatively inspired by what I'm hearing that it keeps me uplifted! Win-win for everybody.

I'm also BEYOND happy to be going to see my mum tomorrow as you read this (eeeeek!) and visiting my family - we're all having a big 80th 'do for my great uncle, who is one of those amazing people that you just can't help but smile around. I hope we do you proud, Jim!

Let's get into the good stuff, shall we? I hope you guys have had a charged week and are looking forward to a fun-filled weekend! I'll see you on Sunday with a (quite personal!) new video.

Tuesday morning my feed was flooded with fashion from The Met ball in New York. Aside from the obvious (I mean, we could talk about Beyonce's incredible body for days), I thought Lily Aldridge looked pretty stunning.

I love the beautiful outfit collections Sea of Shoes puts together, and this week's 'This Week' was no different. This girl's taste is impeccable.

Rae's blog Love from Berlin is absolutely gorgeous and this beautiful collection of hammocks & balcony inspo has me wishing for a day when we have our own home and can set up something similar! Imagine long summer nights, reading in a little hammock. Bliss.

Chapter Friday's awesome post on backgrounds and props to boost your blog and Insta photos was super helpful and drool-worthy.

Brb, just trying to be Alexa Chung again.

I really appreciated this 'What to Wear on Vacation' post from a Cup of Jo - also, her site redesign is just lovely!

I signed up to Mariah from Femtrepreneur's Build a Profitable Blog email course and I've been loving it so far - perfectly sized and pitched digestable content that's useful but not patronising. It also comes at a great time each day into my inbox, so I have time to sit down and read.

Have a good one, everybody.
