Every week when I sit down to write these, I try to think of the overriding word or feeling for the whole seven days since my last post, and this week? It has definitely been 'enough'. Sometimes it's harder to choose, and some weeks the word is just loud and clear. This is one of those. And I think that might sound really negative, and it has been a trying week at times, but I think actually some very good things can come out of finding your limit. You know how far you can be pushed, you know when to step back and take breath, and you start looking at your life in a different way, asking some different questions. I think, and hope, I'm reaching one of those turning points. I'm not sure if it's going to be a painful transition or a smooth one at this point, I just hope it is growth. I feel it's time.

In other news, summer is just starting to consistently hang around on our shores here in the UK. The long, bright evenings and lighter days are keeping me upbeat in the face of challenges, and I wish it could be this way all year 'round. I know soon it'll be stifling in the apartment and I'll be craving warm woollens and crisp mornings again but for now? This is my happiest time.

I hope you've had the kind of week that made you rise above, and are looking forward to a weekend of recharging your batteries.

I found this post from Ella so inspiring and refreshing to read. I'm a long-time follower of her shop (!! so beautiful) and her Instagram, so I kinda feel like I got to see some of the journey she has come along. It's pretty amazing and she deserves a big round of applause, right?

I love this 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 guide to packing by A Pair and A Spare. I'm hoping this will work for my little carry-on for Barca!

Speaking of carry-ons, have you guys seen Hitha On The Go's blog? This girl is a straight-up genius. I discovered her through Pinterest and I've never been so happy about a pin!

Summer sales have started, and my eagle eyes have been looking to Zara. I mean, come on. Seafoam green + long flowy maxi dress heaven = happy Tami.

These lemon and blueberry breakfast bars just look SO GOOD.  They aren't something I can have right now (getting pretty strict on the ol' eating stuff, guys - summer and all) but ONE DAY. Mark my words.

This piece on 21 ways to fill your heart and home with happiness is something I really want to try to do. I definitely feel like my home is my sanctuary right now and a place from which I want to draw strength.

And on the home front - meet our new sofa! We got it from the John Lewis Swindon outlet, which is the stuff of dreams. THE DISCOUNTS, YOU GUYS. The discounts. We have it in a grey/blue colour which isn't that dissimilar to our current colour palette, which makes life easier. I can't wait to spruce it up with home ware...

... As a result of this urge, I have been browsing the Anthro home sale like a demon. Can't even apologise. I've never ever had canap├ęs in my home, but I definitely need this plate. And these trinket dishes.

In the interest of research (har de har) I'm placing a little healthy recipe book order. On the list? Get The Glow, Deliciously Ella, Honestly Healthy, and Eat, Nourish, Glow. Any other reccs?

I will see you on Sunday for a jet-set type video. Are any of you going on holiday soon? Where are you off to?
