Back in November I was lucky enough to be invited to a Christmas gifting event at LUSH Oxford for an evening of bath bomb making and to test Christmas product launches. It was such a chilled, fun and enjoyable evening that I wanted to share some snaps with you guys, even if the majority of Christmas stock has been sold in January sales now!

This is always my favourite time of year for LUSH - the weather is just right for long, indulgent baths, and the whimsical festive limited edition bath bombs and melts and shower gels just make for even more reasons to treat yoself. Suffice it to say, I did my fair share of shopping and gift buying on the night!

We made 'bath cocktails', combining bubble wands like The Magic of Christmas with Golden Wonder, an old favourite bath bomb which delighted us all to no end. What struck me so much was the enthusiasm and energy the staff demo'd the products with, and how helpful and genuine they were. I'm always impressed by how the love for LUSH products always seems to pass down to its employees - I think it speaks volumes about the ethics of the company and how well they must treat their people. I'm always so happy to work with them!

Another highlight was getting the change to make our own Butterbear bath bombs - Butterbears are my absolute favourite as someone with dry, sensitive skin, as there is little else in this bad boy other than the most nourishing shea butter and goodness to soften the water of your bath. It's also scented really gently, so if you're a little concerned about skin this is a great 'entry level' bath bomb.

Clock how chuffed Jaye and I look during our little bathbomb-making 'Ghost' moment! We pressed our little LUSH mixture of goodness into adorable Butterbear moulds and were told to leave them to set for a few days before using them - I can't believe how well mine turned out! It made for a beautiful bath, the little guy didn't go to waste. Thanks so much, LUSH Oxford, for putting on such a beautiful event!

  1. How amazing is this?! Such a lucky lady and you sound like you had a blast. Butterbear is one of my favourite bath bombs and I have to completely agree with you on how nourishing it is, if ever I have a spot of dry skin I pop this in the bath and it disappears! Lovely post darl.

  4. Thank you very much for providing this link! I really enjoyed watching these wonderful photographs. Every year we plan a family trip on Christmas day but this year celebrated this day at one of iconic venues. Went for a family dinner too.
